Eccentric psych-pop provocateur Nancy grew up on an estate in Sunderland and never quite felt like he fitted in, explaining: "Being 7ft tall and standing out in a crowd can seem like an aspirational thing, when you have the option to bend back i, but when it's inescapable it can cause so many problems you maybe wouldn't otherwise think of." Before admitting, "I didn't help myself by wearing women's clothes and sporting a mullet." New track '7 Foot Tall Post-Suicidal Feel Good Blues' is an autobiographical overcoming of feeling marginalised before embracing ones own idiosyncrasy. Sonically taking cues from Iggy Pop (The Idiot era) and MGMT's Oracular Spectacular, a stomping beat and bluesy guitar chugs clunk in conjunction with Nancy's expressive vocal delivery as off-kilter lead lines add a sense of the surreal.
